Back to school!!!
Did you know that tooth decay/cavities is the most common chronic child disease. Studies have shown that cavities can affect child’s performance in school. Cavities can distract kids in class, affect attendance, and grades.
It’s vital your child sees a dentist twice a year for a check up because early detection is the key.
Ask your dentist about Sealants, Fluoride Varnish, and if Invisalign is a good option for your teen.
Tips to keep in mind:
1. Healthy snacks that actually clean your teeth are : carrots, celery, apples and strawberries
2. Sugarless gum : produces saliva that fights acidity in the mouth
3. Drink water: it will clean the teeth and prevent bacteria or plaque from accumulating.
We urge you to schedule a back to school well visit.
